This $8.9 million elementary school is designed to complement the design and materials of an adjacent school and create a campus-like setting. Major program components of the 56,000 sf facility, include a multi-purpose gymnasium and community center, dining center, 2,600 sf greenhouse, 17 primary classrooms, library, art classroom, music classroom, computer center, full service kitchen, and administration offices. Harding Partners in joint venture with Primera Engineers completed architectural and engineering services in eight weeks in order to meet an extremely aggressive schedule based upon an August 1998 occupancy. The project was completed on schedule with a low change order percentage.
